CSA DCL-02 Miniature Quarter-Turn Electric Actuator 16 Nm IP67 ISO5211

Description

The DCL-02 is a miniature quarter-turn electric actuator for compatible ball valves, small butterfly valves and swinging-arm mechanisms. It provides adjustable 0–90° travel, standard output torque of 16 Nm and a 15-second operating time over 90°. Weighing approximately 1.2 kg, it is suitable for equipment packages and piping installations with limited space.

Internal cams and travel limit switches interrupt motor operation at the set positions. The Type B configuration provides passive contacts for fully open and fully closed position feedback, allowing an external control system to confirm valve status. An intermediate stopping position can also be specified. For T-port three-way ball valves, confirm the stopping angles, rotation direction and required flow paths before ordering.

ISO 5211 F03, F04 and F05 mounting interfaces are available with 9×9 mm or 11×11 mm drive squares. The permitted valve-stem height is no more than 16 mm. Selection should be based on actual valve torque and mounting dimensions rather than nominal valve size alone.

The actuator has an IP67 enclosure and a stated ambient-temperature range of -25°C to +55°C. Typical applications include HVAC, water treatment, building automation and general industrial equipment. Power-supply options include DC12V, DC24V, AC24V, AC110V and AC220V. Available switching, feedback and modulating functions depend on the selected voltage and control configuration.
