Features
- Quarter turn with mechanical limits for butterfly valve and 2-way/3-way ball valve
- Hard high pressure die cast aluminum housing with watertight IP67 and NEMA 4X
- Thermally bonded polyester powder coating, C3 level corrosion resistance with 1000 hours salt spray test
- Heavy duty fully enclosed squirrel-cage asynchronous motor with thermal overload protection, duty rate 80%, F rate insulation.
- Over 10000 times full open/close life cycle with rated torque.
- All metal gear train with self-locking worm gear, stays in last known position once power loss, no additional brake needed
- World leading EMC performance, 2500V surge test, 4000V EFT test, 4000V ESD test
- Visual valve position indicator/flat indicator or convex indicator available

Description
DCL compact electric actuators are always used with temperature control valve on ship. Electric control temperature valve is mainly used for auto control of fresh water, sea water or lubricating oil in cooling system, such as generator, diesel engine and turbine etc. Due to the high accuracy(error≤1%) of the actuator’s outdrive positioning, the temperature control can be less than 1℃. Moreover, the surge and electromagnetic interface on the ship are very strong because of the independent power system, all DCL actuators are strictly tested for EMC to meet the severe application.
DCL participates to draft two Chinese national standards, “Marine Electric Control Butterfly Valve” and “Marine Electric Control Ball valve”. Until know, at least 5000 pcs DCL electric actuators are still working on kinds of ships. Actuators are also rigorous tested by CSA per UL and CSA standard. The electric control valves produced by our customer driven by DCL electric actuators have the certifications of DNVGL, LR, BV, NK, KR, RINA, ABS, RS and CCS.
