Product Description

The DCL-K10 is a quick-opening electric actuator for compatible quarter-turn valves and automated equipment requiring short operating times. Three torque and speed configurations are available: 25 N·m at 2 seconds, 50 N·m at 4 seconds, or 80 N·m at 8 seconds, each measured over a 90° stroke.

Match Operating Speed to Torque Requirements

Torque capacity depends on the selected operating time. The two-second configuration delivers 25 N·m; the 80 N·m configuration requires 8 seconds. Select the configuration against the valve’s maximum operating torque and required travel time rather than combining the highest torque with the shortest time.

Power Supply and Control Options

Available supplies include 24V DC, 24V AC, 110V AC, 220V AC and 380V AC. Control circuits depend on the selected supply:

  • Type G: 24V DC.

  • Type A/B: 24V, 110V or 220V single-phase AC.

  • Type H: 380V three-phase AC.

Confirm the required wiring and status signals for the selected circuit before installation.

Mounting and Environmental Specifications

The DCL-K10 provides adjustable 0–90° travel and ISO 5211 F05/F07 direct-mount interfaces. Available drive squares include 9 × 9, 11 × 11, 14 × 14 and 17 × 17 mm, with a permitted valve-stem height of up to 19 mm.

The enclosure is IP67 as standard, with IP68 optional, and the specified ambient temperature range is −25°C to +55°C. Two G1/2 weatherproof cable connectors provide separate entries for power and signal wiring.

Application Limits

The quick-opening range is unsuitable for applications requiring actuator self-locking, including butterfly-valve duties where self-locking is necessary. Confirm whether process torque could back-drive the valve before selecting this configuration.

Final selection should verify torque, operating time, self-locking requirements, mounting dimensions and site conditions. Fast travel alone does not establish suitability for emergency shutdown service.
