Product Description
The DCL-K10 is a quick-opening electric actuator for small quarter-turn valves and automated equipment requiring a defined short response time. Available configurations provide a full 90° stroke at 25 Nm in two seconds, 50 Nm in four seconds or 80 Nm in eight seconds.
Power-supply options include DC24V, AC24V, AC110V, AC220V and AC380V. The control circuit depends on the supply: Type G is used for DC24V, Type A/B for the listed single-phase AC versions and Type H for AC380V three-phase operation.
The actuator has adjustable 0–90° travel and ISO 5211 F05/F07 direct-mount interfaces. IP67 is standard, IP68 is optional, and the stated ambient-temperature range is -25°C to +55°C. Two G1/2 weatherproof cable connectors separate the power and signal wiring.
Available torque is directly related to operating time. The two-second version provides 25 Nm and should not be described as an 80 Nm two-second actuator. The correct configuration must be selected according to the valve’s maximum operating torque and required response time.
The product documentation states that the quick-opening range is not suitable for butterfly valves or other valves requiring a self-locking actuator. Before selection, engineers should confirm that process torque cannot back-drive the valve and verify the mounting flange, drive square and valve-stem height.
