Description

The DCL Smart Modulating Electric Actuator is integrated with an Electric Positioning System (EPS) positioner, wherein the rotational angle of the output drive shaft maintains a precise linear proportional relationship with the input control signal — available in 4–20 mA, 2–10 V, or 1–5 V signal protocols.

The intelligent controller also features real-time motor current monitoring functionality. In the event of motor stalling, the operating current will experience an abrupt, significant surge. The controller is programmed to cut off the motor power supply precisely 3 seconds after detecting this current surge. This constitutes an electronic over-torque protection mechanism, which offers superior precision compared to traditional mechanical over-torque protection solutions.

All actuators have undergone rigorous third-party certification testing by CSA, in full compliance with both UL and CSA industry standards. The continuous duty cycle rating for the entire product series exceeds 70%. Additionally, the EPS positioner system incorporates an automatic self-calibration function, which effectively eliminates the "hunting" phenomenon (oscillation around the set position) and provides a standard output signal for real-time position monitoring.
