DCL explosion-proof electric actuators incorporate an optional integrated over-torque protection system. When hazardous piping valves experience jamming due to media crystallization or foreign impurities, the pipeline torque rapidly spikes toward a preset critical limit; the torque switch immediately switches off the power circuit to prevent valve stem shearing and safeguard internal gear driving devices from overload damage. Concurrently,a sensitive PTC overheating protector is embedded directly within the electric motor windings. In the event of an unexpected stifled motor situation causing temperatures to hit 105°C, the loop automatically disconnects, and then recovers through once the wind temperature falls back to 80-90°C, forging a dependable electrical and mechanical barrier.

Engineered for explosive gas and dust environments other than coal mines, these units satisfy over 90% of explosive atmosphere requirements. To eliminate flame leakage from the physical source, the electric motor cavity, electronic component cavity, and connection cavity are all manufactured under strict Exd standards utilizing a precise round seam allowance to match up flameproof joints. By strictly optimizing the flameproof joint gap and width, the rugged die-cast aluminum alloy enclosure safely withstands intense high pressures caused by interior explosions without suffering damage, ensuring absolute containment of internal sparks. Boasting a certified IP68 protection class, these actuators hold full North American CSA certification (compliant with ANSI/UL 60079-1 and CSA C22.2 No.30), seamlessly satisfying both the Division and Zone classification frameworks for Class I, Division 1 and Class I, Zone 1 hazardous locations.
