DCL-Ex05 Series: Extended Range Explosion-Proof Actuators

The DCL-Ex05 offers a unique extended turning angle of up to 340°, making it ideal for specialized industrial applications in explosive gas environments (e.g., Ethylene, Ethanol). Each housing joint features a cylinder-stop flameproof surface that meets and exceeds UL standards for gap and length. To ensure the highest explosion-grade integrity, DCL implements tighter machining tolerances than those required by UL. Every enclosure component undergoes rigorous individual testing before assembly.

Powered by DCL’s proprietary, non-ventilated, fully-enclosed motors, these actuators deliver high starting torque in a compact footprint. To maintain safety during heavy-duty cycles, our motor design strictly limits heat generation, ensuring the external shell temperature never exceeds 135°C (275°F / T4 Rating).
