The DCL-Ex05 explosion-proof electric actuator features a configurable rotation angle of up to 340 degrees, and is ideally suited for explosive gas atmospheres involving ethylene, ethanol and other flammable media. The cylinder stop-type mating surfaces of all housing covers are precision-manufactured to comply with UL standards for flameproof gap and length specifications. As the machining quality of flameproof surfaces is critical to ensuring the explosion-proof rating, machining tolerances are strictly controlled to meet requirements exceeding the UL standard. For this reason, every explosion-proof housing and cover from suppliers undergoes rigorous inspection by DCL prior to assembly.

DCL actuators are equipped with self-developed, non-ventilated fully enclosed motors boasting high starting torque. Given the ultra-compact design of the actuator, motor temperature rise is rigorously restricted even under heavy-duty operation, ensuring the outer shell temperature does not exceed 135℃ (300.6°F).
