Description
All DCL electric actuators adopt specially formulated copper alloy worm gears. Unlike ordinary gears that only plate copper on the surface, DCL’s worm gear is a one-piece casting made entirely of bronze alloy. This design greatly enhances its overall strength and wear resistance.
In electric actuators, the most vulnerable component is often the final-stage worm or spur gear, as it is directly connected to the output shaft and bears the highest torque and friction. Therefore, the durability of this gear directly determines the actuator’s service life. DCL addresses this by designing a larger worm gear with an extended radius, which effectively reduces the force exerted on each gear tooth under the same torque load. Combined with the full-bronze alloy construction, this ensures exceptional reliability and longevity.
Furthermore, gear runout significantly affects both transmission noise and mechanical lifespan. DCL’s dedicated Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) team rigorously controls the quality of all incoming components. Every cover, bearing, gear, and electronic part is thoroughly tested before entering the warehouse, guaranteeing consistent performance and durability across all DCL actuators.
